Into the Deep - 56" x 36"

I was inspired by my surroundings here in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico - the vast blue ocean, endless sandy beaches, and the sounds of waves crashing.

Medium(s) used: acrylic, gold leaf. Acrylic is usually my go-to medium when I paint because I have used it all my life, but I wanted to add something different and give this painting a pop, therefore I added gold leaf which I felt helped balance the geometric sand.
