Each original artwork purchased through lindalieffers.com is prepared and shipped with care.

Because artwork dimensions, destinations, values, and packing requirements vary significantly, shipping arrangements may differ from one purchase to another.

Shipping Costs

​

Shipping costs are calculated based on factors that may include:

  • Artwork dimensions and weight

  • Destination

  • Packing and crating requirements

  • Insurance

  • Carrier or freight service

  • Residential or commercial delivery

  • Oversize handling requirements

 

The shipping rate displayed at checkout applies only to the specific artwork and destination included in that order.

 

In some cases, particularly for large or oversized artwork, additional freight or specialized delivery arrangements may be necessary.

 

If there is a significant difference between the checkout shipping charge and the actual required shipping cost, we will contact you before shipment to discuss available options.

 

 

Oversized Artwork

 

Large works may require custom packing, professional crating, freight service, or specialized fine-art transportation.

 

This may result in longer preparation and transit times than standard parcel shipping.

Processing Time

 

Processing time depends on the artwork, packing method, carrier availability, and destination.

 

Orders are normally prepared for shipment only after payment has cleared.

 

If custom crating is required, additional preparation time may be necessary.

 

 

Delivery Estimates

 

Any delivery date or transit estimate provided is an estimate only.

 

Delays may occur due to:

  • Carrier delays

  • Weather

  • Customs processing

  • Remote delivery locations

  • Freight scheduling

  • Holiday periods

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

 

 

International Orders

 

International collectors are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country unless expressly stated otherwise.

 

These charges are not included in the artwork price unless specifically noted.

 

 

Shipping Address

 

Please ensure that your shipping address, telephone number, and email address are correct at checkout.

 

Linda Lieffers is not responsible for delays or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.

 

 

Inspection Upon Delivery

 

Please inspect the exterior packaging and artwork as soon as possible after

delivery.

 

If the package appears damaged, photograph the packaging before opening it whenever possible.

 

Retain all packaging materials until you have confirmed that the artwork arrived safely.

 

 

Damage During Shipping

 

If artwork arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide:

  • Your order information

  • Photographs of the damaged artwork

  • Photographs of the exterior and interior packaging

  • Photographs of any visible damage to the crate, box, or wrapping

 

Please retain the artwork and all original packaging while the claim is being reviewed.

 

Depending on the circumstances, we may work with you, the carrier, and/or insurer to determine an appropriate resolution.

 

Do not dispose of damaged packaging before the claim process is complete, as the carrier may require it for inspection.

 

 

Risk of Loss

 

Risk of loss and responsibility for the artwork transfer in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the shipping carrier.

 

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
